Conservation Sudbury seems to be in a bit of a dispute with one of its more wild neighbours. The battle is over a wooden structure in the Lake Laurentian Conservation area.
A beaver is wreaking havoc on a floating boardwalk which crosses -oddly enough- Beaver Pond, says General Manager of Conservation Sudbury, Carl Jorgensen.

Conservation Sudbury will be pointing the way to a fuller experience for users of the Lake Laurentian Conservation Area.
General Manager Carl Jorgensen says new signage will help people navigate the 970-hectare preserve in the middle of the city.
Existing signage has often been slapped together, Jorgensen said, and were often made of foam core boards and even paper wrapped in plastic.

Six students take home new cameras in seventh annual fast flowing water contest.
The winners of the seventh annual Fast Flowing Water Contest were announced June 18 at Tom Davies Square.
Students in grades four through eight from six schools attended the awards ceremony where five lucky students received some nice hardware for their hard work.
