SUDBURY – Conservation Sudbury, in partnership with Union Gas, unveiled its new sign at the entrance to the Lake Laurentian Conservation Area earlier today.

Herve and Ursula Sauve are avid travellers and have seen many beautiful places around the world, but when it comes to Sudbury, the couple says there's no better place to be.
Herve, 71, and Ursula, 63, said they are proud to live in a city that offers 330 lakes and peaceful green spaces so centrally located.

Conservation Sudbury’s Bridging the Gaps project has received an Earth Day Canada Community Environment Fund grant, which it will use to restore and repair the highly used trail network at the Lake Laurentian Conservation Area.
Bridges, boardwalks and interpretive signs will be constructed and installed throughout the 50 kilometres of trail in the area. READ MORE...

One day, that may include an eight-lane competitive pool with a therapy pool (and hot tub) in the same building as a couple of ice pads with multipurpose gymnasiums all heating one another in an ecogreen kind of way.
